Our Story
Founded in 2023 in Singapore, PharLyfe+ was born from a profound clinical observation. Serving as front-line pharmacists, our co-founders witnessed firsthand the severe physical and emotional friction inherent in traditional drug delivery — from patients terrified of injection needles to vulnerable individuals lacking adequate vascular access. We recognized that true healthcare should not force patients to depend solely on hospital-administered injections, nor should treatments for acute conditions like seizures require highly visible, undignified interventions.

Driven by the ethos of Empowerment, Dignity, and Independence, we engineered our first-in-class Mucosal Thin Films (MTF) to put control back into the hands of patients and caregivers. Today, that foundational mission fuels our trajectory as we scale into the Asia-Pacific region’s premier drug-delivery CDMO. By evolving from a specialized clinical compounding service into a global pharmaceutical technology platform, we are actively co-developing proprietary MTF portfolios with strategic partners to eliminate needle trauma, cold-chain logistics, and biohazardous waste on a global scale.
May 2024 – Present | Clinical Trials & Real-World Implementation
PharLyfe+ crossed the critical threshold from R&D to direct clinical application, initiating numerous trials and real-world use cases for both human patients and companion animals. Validating our institutional demand, four major restructured public hospitals successfully secured grants to pilot our MTFs across oncology, palliative care, pediatrics, and surgical wards. Simultaneously, we expanded our commercial footprint by launching active collaborations with key private elderly homecare providers and veterinary clinics, working on the front lines to directly replace traumatic injectables with our high-compliance films.
March 2024 | International Broadcast Debut
PharLyfe+ achieved international recognition by emerging as a Top 5 finalist on "The Big Spark," a premier business reality series broadcast on Channel News Asia (CNA). Selected from a highly competitive pool of 24 top Southeast Asian startups, our founders took the stage to showcase our vision for transforming the pharmaceutical landscape. With CNA's satellite footprint reaching 29 territories across Asia, the Middle East, and Australia, this milestone provided invaluable regional exposure, connected us with key investors, and publicly validated our mission to modernize drug delivery.
June 2023 | Company Inception & NUS GRIP Debut
PharLyfe+ officially launched our proprietary drug delivery platform at the National University of Singapore’s (NUS) Graduate Research Innovation Programme (GRIP) Lift-Off Day. Selected as one of 14 featured deep-tech start-ups, we debuted our foundational technology: exact-dose mucosal films composed of specialized edible polymers. Initially developed to provide a safe, easily administered treatment for epilepsy, these films were engineered to adhere to the inner cheek and release life-saving medication directly into the bloodstream, establishing the clinical blueprint for our current MTF platform.
